Like really. Wow. It's been so long since I've actually even drawn anything, nevermind posting on here or my tumblr etc. My art tumblr is basically just a lot of me reblogging drawing reference, but not actually drawing. Which is great. Not.
I've had the most severe case of art block that I think I've ever had. It's been weeeeeeeeeks since I've drawn anything because I cannot think of anything remotely interesting to draw- so I haven't. And I think I'm actually forgetting how to draw, which wouldn't be surprising at all. And that's more than a little worrying for me. I'm not really sure what exactly to do about it, either. I keep forgetting to journal. Whoops. I have a written journal that I'm also super bad at keeping up, I just dump everything on it every 6 months or so.
Anyways, I have stationary-news. I bought a FriXion ballpoint pen today after I saw a video about them on Youtube a while back and was like "wow this is best thing ever I need six". Basically it's got special ink that reacts and turns colourless when it heats up- effectively erasing it. The pen has a strong rubber end that you rub on the paper and the friction (where the name comes from I guess, haha) generates enough heat to make the ink react. It also doesnt rub off with eraser or smudges
